872 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Spooky Sound"

This is one of my first experiments in audacity making a sound like this! i wanted to make a drone with my voice as a calming atmospheric background, but it turned out a bit creepy. I hope it can be of use to someone here!i'd love to see how you use it, but i don't require credit. Thanks!.

Ten minutes of background sounds for haunted attractions. Loops well, perfect for home or professional haunted houses. Includes groans, heartbeats, backward speech, chains, howls, screeching, cats, screams, theremin, growls, slow and fast sections, sirens, dogs barking, breaking glass, etc.

I recorded myself filling up a cup of water for a game and while playing around with some settings i decided to paulstretch the sound. This was the result and i thought it would be perfect for any kind of horror/scary ambience!.

I'd love to hear how this is used! an antique, german music box. Very creepy, but pretty too. . . In an unsettling way. . . Enjoy!.

A strong wind was blowing through the window and under the door. This created a mystic and weird sound. I added some reverb to it and now its a huge horror cave, where the wind is creating a frightening atmosphere.

I created this sound using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) using various ladspa effects and layered a few zynaddsubfx synths, with some automation to tame the fall off's by automating the volume faders. Enjoy :).

A groovy & sinister tunei made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I couldn't sleep so i was playing around with a drumbeat. I kinda liked it so i added staccatto string-chords along with a bass in the same notes. Things start growing and ended up something groovy with a spooky touch. Used a few text-to-speech websites and a website that lets you apply effects to generate this. Sounds like a low-quality recording of a supervillain monologuing his master plan via planet-wide broadcast.

A field recording i made in bruges, december 2013. While i was walking around the chapel at the béguinage, a nun started singing and practising the organ. It sounded beautiful but also quite spooky and ethereal. I'm afraid it's not the best quality as i had to improvise with the voice memo feature on my iphone. The recording has distant singing and other ambient noises, such as footsteps and whispering. The organ kicks in at 02:29. Please let me know if you make use of this.
